MPX Copperhead

I know this version of the platform has received its fair share of criticism but with a little playing around I have found it to be a flexible and enjoyable tool at the range. I am not a fan of either the color or the grip, the color I can overlook and the grip will be changed shortly.

One of the things I enjoy most about this version is that with the lack of hand guard extension and outfitted the the 4.5″ ILWT Tri Lug Barrel and the ILWT Adjustable Gas Plug it makes for a easily suppressed minimalist platform with great flexibility. Gas feedback can be easily adjusted since there is ready access to the adjustable plug and with the suppressor mounted there is no fear of placing your hand in front of the muzzle.

Sigs newest version of the bolt carrier provides for a smoother operating system during operation which also means you can get away with less gas to drive the system.

I understand that this version will still not appeal to a lot of current or potential MPX customers but I do believe it has a lot to offer the market especially if one is looking for the smallest available package
